Flawless Skin! DYI Fx Foundation
wThis is my favorite trick for all my models that may need to do their own Fx (airbrush) makeup in bind. the tick i am teaching is a flawless (heavy coverage) for film/print shoots. The CEO Yolanda shows a more natural look in the YouTube video below. You will need Loreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base (Bed Bath & Beyond) and Aero Minerale Makeup Mist (Bed Bath & Beyond) in your skin color. Start with clean exfoliated skin, tone your skin and apply a hydrating moisturizer (no sunscreen) Pull your hair up in a tight pony tail. Wrap yourself in a towel with shoulders and decollete exposed. Make sure to brush your teeth & use whitening eye drops before you begin. Apply magic primer to any area with fine lines/large pores, using your fingers and a dry sponge. Allow to dry for 3 min. Make sure that your neck/chest is dry with no oils or lotions. Take a long piece of toilet paper and make it into a head wrap covering your earlobes and hair-line. Close your eyes and spray the mist two inches away from your face & upper body. Spray over neck & decollete as well. Take a dry sponge and lightly pat to even out the coverage. You will need blend around the lip line, eye brows, & under the eyes. Remove the head wrap and blend into the hair line. and blend. Let dry for 10 min, then begin eye, blush, & lip makeup. When your makeup is finished, lightly spray entire face with aerosol anti-humidity flexible hair spray.

DYI Retin A Creams
If you are a skin care product addict then you have heard a ton about Retin A or Vitamin A. As you have noticed, products containing either of the two are very pricy. What you may not know; is the actual amount of Retin or Vitamin A in the product is very small. The percentage may be as little as 3-5% due to cost and FDA laws (Retin A in pure form is a prescription product) the fact is you may need a couple jars/tubes of a product be it eye or face cream before you will begin to notice any results. Here is a fabulous at home trick, before you purchase Retin A please view the video below explaining the product, its uses and side effects. It is much more cost effective to purchase your favorite skin/eye creams and mix a small to medium amount of Retin A into the cream. You can also use your eye cream as a lip cream (above the lip line) this is great for smokers lines. Start our by using the Retin A 2-3 times a week and work your way up. You will need to make an appointment with your local dermatologist to get a prescription. If you are over 35 it will not be covered by insurance and will cost about $80 for 45g (good size tube) although this sounds pricy; keep in mind it is pure Retin A, in the long run you are saving a lot of money considering how much your skin/eye creams cost. You may purchase it online, but be very cautious. Most of the products are from Canadian pharmacy and they are not guaranteed to be the genuine product or strength. Do not use Retin A if you are pregnant or nursing. Always use sunscreen when using Retin A. I recommend only using it in you night creams. It does make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Stop Retin A two weeks before any chemical peels or laser treatments. Store your Retin A in the refrigerator. Do not mix Retin A with cleansers or sunscreen Always use a smaller amount in your eye cream, as the skin around the eyes is thinner & more delicate.
